Marc quit school early and set off, knocking on the doors of the film industry. In 2003 he was chosen as one of the worlds top young directors at the “New Directors Showcase” in Cannes. In the same year, he won his first Gold Lion. A  Swiss national who lives in NYC, he calls his approach to filming "anti-intellectual". Thanks to a rigorous commitment to in camera effects and a sophisticated use of postproduction and sound, he amuses himself and, and others thankfully, with a poetic touch that is his signature.
